Senior Champions are colleagues in leadership and management positions who have been nominated to act as role models and communicators of the Active Bystander model. 

They do this in the following ways:

• Acting as active bystanders themselves
• Supporting others who challenge inappropriate behaviours
• Giving permission to challenge
• Responding positively and constructively to challenge from others
• Setting expectations that colleagues challenge unacceptable behaviour
